the order of events #1

The order of events is a series of drawings (patterns) based on the handwritten notes and corrections made by Ludwig Wittgenstein in the manuscript of his ‘Lecture on Ethics’ (1929). These visual gestures I copied first in my notebook (and so already in my own handwriting) while visiting the Wren Library of Trinity College, Cambridge. And later on seperate pages, as precise marks, signaling something important, something urgent perhaps even. They are tentative structures, highlighting and undermining the simplicity of making sense.
